Gŵyl deuluol a fydd yn fwrlwm o fiwsig di-baid a gweithgareddau i’r plant, ar safle bendigedig Castell Aberystwyth. Awst 6ed. Fe fydd y bandiau yn perfformio o 1pm tan yr hwyr. Bydd gweithdai a gweithgareddau i blant felly yn gwneud yr ŵyl yn ddiwrnod delfrydol ar gyfer y teulu oll. Castell Aberystwyth yw’r lle perffaith i gynnal gwyl. Mae’n safle godidog sy’n edrych dros Fae Ceredigion ac sy’n hynod gyfleus i ganol y dref. Gall pobol fynd a dod fel a fynnont yn ystod y dydd. Byddwch chi ddim yn siomedig gyda lleoliad yr Wyl yn enwedig os yw’r haul yn sgleinio ac yn machlud dros y bae gan roi cefndir trawiadol i’r llwyfan. Cynhelir yr wyl ers chwe mlynedd bellach ac mae’n ddigwyddiad cymunedol sy’n cael ei drefnu gan wirfoddolwyr er mwyn darparu cerddoriaeth am ddim i bobol yr ardal, yn enwedig i bobol ifanc, sydd efallai ddim yn medru fforddio tocyn i un o wyliau mwy yr haf yma. Mae polisi dim alcohol yn cael ei weithredu ar y safle sy’n gwneud yr wyl yn lle perffaith a diogel ar gyfer teuluoedd. Pob blwyddyn rydym yn casglu arian ac yn derbyn cyfraniadau tuag at elusen o’n dewis. Caiff Castell Rock ei gefnogi gan Gyngor Dref Aberystwyth, Cyngor Sir Ceredigion a Cymunedau yn Gyntaf. Eleni, rydym hefyd wedi derbyn cefnogaeth ymhellach gan Rhaglen Digwyddiadau Gwledig Ceredigion (cefnogwyd gan Lywodrateh Cynulliad Cymru a’r Undeb Ewropeaidd). | Castell Rock is a free festival to be held in the ruins of Aberystwyth Castle August 6th. Non stop bands performing from 1pm onwards with workshops and activities for children, making Castell Rock a fun day out for all the family. Aberystwyth Castle is the perfect place for a festival, it has easy access to the centre of Aberystwyth and enjoys a prominent location overlooking Cardigan Bay. People can come and go as they please during the day. You will not fail to be impressed by the location of the event and if the sun shines the sunset over the bay provides a spectacular back drop to the stage. The festival has been running for six years and is a community based event run by volunteers to provide free music to the area, especially young people, who may not be able to afford a ticket to one of the larger festivals this summer. There is a no alcohol policy in the castle grounds making the event a safer family environment. Every year we collect money and accept donations towards a chosen charity. Castell Rock is supported by Aberystwyth Town Council, Ceredigion County Coucil and Communities First and this year we have received further support from the Cerdigion Rural Events Programme (supported by the Welsh Assembly Government & The European Union). |
